How LetMeTalk handles data, permissions, and communication features.

This policy explains how LetMeTalk handles information, permissions, and on-device communication features.

1. Summary

  • LetMeTalk does not require account registration or login.
  • LetMeTalk does not use advertising SDKs.
  • LetMeTalk does not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • LetMeTalk does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information for commercial purposes.
  • Core app functionality does not depend on a developer-hosted backend service.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data through the app.

  • Typed phrases or freeform text entered by the user
  • Speech history or saved custom phrases
  • Voice settings, speech rate, pitch, or display settings
  • Account, profile, or login data
  • Advertising or analytics identifiers

3. On-Device Storage

To provide functionality, the app stores certain information locally on the user’s device only. This may include saved phrases, recent speech history, and app preferences such as selected voice, speech speed, pitch, text size, and onboarding state.

4. Speech and Audio Features

LetMeTalk uses Apple system frameworks to convert text into spoken audio on the device. On supported versions of iOS, the app may also reference Apple voice features, including system voice options and Personal Voice-related capabilities made available by the operating system.

We do not receive, store, or upload voice recordings to our servers.

5. Microphone Permission

If microphone-related permission is requested, it is solely to support Apple system voice functionality available on the device. We do not use microphone access to collect or transmit user recordings to a remote server.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not include third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics services. If a user chooses to open an external link, such as a website or email application, they will be subject to the privacy practices of that external service.

7. Children’s Privacy

LetMeTalk is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data through the app, we do not knowingly process children’s personal information.

8. Data Security

LetMeTalk is designed to reduce data exposure by keeping user content on-device and avoiding unnecessary remote transmission. Users remain responsible for the security of their own devices, including passcodes, backups, and access controls.

9. International Transfers

Because we do not collect personal data through our own backend systems, we do not transfer user personal data internationally for app operations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or operational changes. If material changes are made, we will update the effective date shown above.
